L.L.Bean JAPAN EDITION Prospect Harbor Field Coat
The JAPAN EDITION collection was developed by a Japanese design team to suit the climate and trends of Japan. This coat is an adaptation of our classic original field coat, which originated as a hunting coat first introduced in 1924. Made from a unique polyester material with a matte look and natural touch, it has a faded appearance that resembles cotton duck that has aged and worn over time.

Material & Care Instructions
- Made from 100% polyester
- Uses Techduck, a unique material made from a special irregular cross-section polyester thread (S-fiber).
- The yarn itself is not of uniform thickness but has a complex shape, giving it a very matte, cotton-like appearance, natural touch, and lightness.
- Furthermore, a special print is applied to the woven fabric, and the print on the surface of the fabric is removed by washing the product, giving the fabric a faded look, resembling that of well-worn, aged cotton duck, despite being made of polyester.
- 100% cotton corduroy trim on collar and cuffs
- Machine washable
- Use a laundry net when washing/use a cloth when ironing
- Please wash separately
- Will shrink slightly when washed in water
- For off-white and light-colored items, use a non-fluorescent detergent.
- Do not soak or leave the product wet.
- Please be careful when wearing dark colors with white or light colors as they may bleed onto other items when rubbed or wet.
- Please avoid ironing the corduroy parts.
- This product has been specially treated to fade with repeated wearing and washing, so each piece will have slightly different texture, color, size, etc., but please enjoy this as a feature of the product.
